Really Yeti?
As a dev I must say.. great idea, bad execution (mostly UX). As a professional this app would come in so "handy" in meetings I need to make a quick exit from.
Here are the issues..
-Uses the same number from all txts and calls. Cant use an actual person from address book
-Can only use one person to receive msgs from. Would be nice to use girlfriend, project manager, mom, etc..
-Avatar pic chosen is not used in txt msgs
-Dated emoji images
-Background colors (research color psychology)
-Clunky UI that makes for an unsatisfying UX
-Glitchy when switching from another app and back to typing a preset msg
-Automatically uses new contact created for all contacts. Need to be able to create different contacts for each instance
Works like it says but theres so much more it could do to be viable. I would use this constantly but doesnt give me the confidence that it would be believable. Chelsea had a fantastic idea here but it seems like the project didnt receive enough funding to make it awesome. Cant believe Yeti put their good name on this just for publicity. Kinda worked against not for them.
2 ⭐️⭐️ for the idea -3 for the execution.
